The clans are thriving. But Toxic Tribe is, too. The sun is shining in full blast as heat blankets the clans. Prey is up and running about. Look up in the skies! many birds are fluttering about. Snag them while you can! Leaf-fall will not be easy.

Spiritsoul gently swam through the warm water. This was her thinking spot. She had no mate (check out her mate bio) so she was alone. Her heart was in so much pain. She had never seen her mother,and her father had recently just died. Spiritsoul could only imagin what it must feel like to have a mate to love, help, and understand you. She bagan to lose hope in love.

Emeraldstar circled a bit, gliding in an elliptical form above the trees. The rainbow colored fur that was Emeraldstar's sparked a bit, outlining the leader with a yellow color. The sun was bright and there were few clouds in the sky. Silently, Emeraldstar scanned the area below like some sort of hawk, and pinpointed her landing spot.
Emeraldstar began her descent, slowly making her way to the soggy ground. The river was highlighted in this sunny day, sending out sparkles of rainbow from the water. The leader put her paws on the bank of the river and let out a sigh of pure serenity. "Hello, Spiritsoul. How was your day?" She asked, waiting for Spiritsoul to reply.
Spiritsoul jumped as she heard Emeraldstar's voice. 'Ohh...well...fine just fine.' she whispered. 'Emeraldstar may I ask you a question?' her voice chocked and she stepped out of the water. it did not watter if her wings were wet. she could barely fly since a part of her right wing had been torn off.

Emeraldstar nodded her splotched head and replied, "Yes, what is it?" She didn't mean to sound rude. Emeraldstar glanced only a bit at Spiritsoul's torn wing, observing for a moment. Then the leader directed her attention back to Spiritsoul's eyes.
Emeraldstar sniffed a bit, sensing many stale fear scents around the area. And then there were Toxic Tribe scents, stale. It was word among the clan that some VineClanner, [Rapidclaw, was it?] He had gotten part of his wing torn, almost severed.
The sun continued to shine off the two cats. Emeraldstar's sleek, shiny fur sent off a glare. The sun's warmth was new, right after leaf-bare. The last leaf-bare hadn't been as harsh as it could have been. Only the top of the river had been frozen [by thin ice], so it was relatively easy to crack it and snag a few fish.
Spiritsoul noticed her leader was looking at her torn wing. she stepped back a bit just to hide the wing. 'well do you ever have an emepty feeling in the pit of your stomach? well I mean do you think there is a special cat out there for you?' She was thinking about a mate.

Emeraldstar's teal firey stare softened into a calm and gentle gaze. She exhaled a cloud of air, and soon replied, "I know there is always a cat for me." she whispered. Her eyes gleamed with thoughtfulness. "But my life is holding me back."
"Spiritsoul, if you are looking for a mate you make sure he is worthy of you." With that, the clan leader stepped back and turned around. She silently started cruising along the path.
